Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and equipment operation
- Operate heavy machinery (dump trucks, loaders, graders) with proper safety protocols
- Install/maintain traffic control devices and construction signage
- Assist in repairing streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and city safety regulations
- Document daily work activities and material usage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project timelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Experience operating heavy machinery (minimum 1 year)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
