Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment (excavators, loaders, dump trucks)
- Perform road maintenance, pothole repairs, and street sweeping
- Assist in construction and infrastructure projects
- Maintain public spaces, parks, and recreational facilities
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Participate in emergency response and disaster recovery efforts
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- Minimum 1 year construction/public works experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
