Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including landscaping, street sweeping, and park maintenance
- Operate light machinery (e.g., lawnmowers, power tools) with proper training
- Assist in construction and repair projects under supervisor guidance
- Maintain clean and safe work environments following OSHA standards
- Support emergency response during weather events or public emergencies
- Complete daily work logs and report maintenance issues promptly
- Participate in team projects to enhance community infrastructure
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C) required
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurement and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance record
- Ability to follow safety protocols and instructions
