Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and transporting materials
- Operate hand tools and light machinery (shovels, rakes, power saws)
- Assist in road repair, sidewalk construction, and park maintenance
- Ensure work sites comply with safety protocols and environmental standards
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects on schedule
- Report infrastructure hazards and maintenance needs to supervisors
- Participate in emergency response during weather-related incidents
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction/maintenance practices
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- No felony convictions
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
