Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, dump trucks) with proper safety protocols
- Install/maintain public infrastructure: roads, sidewalks, drainage systems, and parks
- Execute seasonal duties: snow removal, landscaping, and vegetation control
- Collaborate with crews on construction projects while adhering to OSHA standards
- Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain clean, organized work sites and equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in extreme weather
- Experience with hand/power tools and heavy equipment operation preferred
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification a plus
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Strong teamwork skills and commitment to public service
