Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and asphalt pavers under supervision
- Perform manual labor tasks including trench digging, debris removal, and material handling
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and storm drain installations
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and departmental procedures
- Conduct site preparation and cleanup for construction projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional crews to meet project deadlines
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks and report issues
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Kentucky driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow verbal instructions precisely
