Responsibilities
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) under supervision
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and material handling
- Assist in road repair, street cleaning, and snow removal operations
- Maintain public spaces including parks, playgrounds, and sidewalks
- Follow strict safety protocols and use protective equipment
- Collaborate with crews to complete projects on schedule
- Report maintenance issues and equipment malfunctions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid NC driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools preferred
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
