Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist in road maintenance, landscaping, and facility repairs
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, etc.) safely
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Support emergency response during public works crises
- Complete daily task reports and inventory checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety standards
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
