Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, graders) for infrastructure construction
- Perform manual labor including excavation, concrete pouring, and asphalt paving
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and city regulations
- Assist in stormwater management and public utility maintenance
- Conduct site preparation and material handling operations
- Collaborate with engineering teams for precise project execution
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Colorado Class A or B CDL license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of construction blueprints and site plans
- Experience with traffic control and work zone safety
- High school diploma or equivalent required
