Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and landscaping
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, etc.) under supervision
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure
- Maintain accurate records of work orders and materials digitally
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and city safety protocols
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests during on-site shifts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic proficiency with digital tools (email, reporting systems)
- Experience with hand/power tools and construction equipment preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and physical fitness assessment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
