Responsibilities
- Manage capital improvement projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies for seamless project execution
- Conduct site inspections and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Develop project scopes, schedules, and resource allocation plans
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and county regulations including OSHA and environmental standards
- Prepare progress reports and present findings to county leadership and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in municipal project management or public works
- Valid Nevada Professional Engineer (PE) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, AutoCAD)
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-million dollar infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of Nevada public procurement processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
