Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and stormwater systems
- Operate heavy machinery including loaders, graders, and street sweepers
- Respond to emergency weather-related infrastructure repairs
- Conduct safety inspections of public facilities and equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Document maintenance activities using digital tracking systems
- Adhere to OSHA and municipal safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Minnesota Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Basic knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
