Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and concrete work for infrastructure projects
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently (backhoes, loaders, dump trucks)
- Assist in maintaining city parks, trails, and recreational facilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on public utilities
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Support emergency response during weather-related incidents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Experience with hand/power tools and basic machinery operation
- Strong work ethic with punctual attendance record
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of traffic control and safety signage
