Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate heavy machinery including dump trucks, loaders, and graders
- Assist in stormwater drainage system inspections and repairs
- Support waste management operations and recycling initiatives
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain compliance with OSHA standards
- Document work activities and maintain accurate equipment logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Texas Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years experience in public works or construction
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
