Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including excavation, paving, and debris removal
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power saws) safely and efficiently
- Install/repair sidewalks, curbs, and drainage systems
- Maintain job sites with proper safety protocols and cleanliness
- Assist in emergency storm response and snow removal operations
- Collaborate with crew leads on daily task prioritization
- Complete accurate daily work logs and progress reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA 10 preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and tool maintenance skills
- Ability to follow verbal/written instructions precisely
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
