Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, loaders) for infrastructure projects
- Perform routine maintenance on public roads, sidewalks, and parks
- Execute landscaping and vegetation control initiatives
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure OSHA compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on urban development projects
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Georgia Class B Commercial Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years construction/municipal experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of GIS mapping systems preferred
