Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and paving operations
- Operate heavy machinery such as loaders, backhoes, and dump trucks (with certification)
- Assist in storm drain maintenance and flood prevention projects
- Install and repair traffic control signs and safety barriers
- Support park facility upkeep including landscaping and playground maintenance
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Maintain accurate work logs and equipment inspection records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Florida Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Certification in heavy equipment operation or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
