Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for infrastructure maintenance including road repair, drainage systems, and park upkeep
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power saws) with proper safety protocols
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather events (snow removal, flooding)
- Conduct routine inspections of public facilities and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on construction and beautification projects
- Maintain accurate work logs and documentation for project tracking
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation experience
- Strong communication skills for team collaboration
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
