Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light equipment (e.g., jackhammers, tampers, and power tools)
- Maintain work zones with proper safety signage and barricades
- Assist in repairing roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Support vegetation management and erosion control projects
- Document daily work activities and material usage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Experience with hand/power tools and basic equipment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Ability to work in variable weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
