Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dump trucks) under supervision
- Perform manual labor including digging, grading, and paving
- Maintain public spaces including parks, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Follow strict safety protocols for construction sites
- Assist in emergency weather response (snow removal, flood control)
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks
- Collaborate with crew leads on project timelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment operation
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to follow verbal/written instructions
- Commitment to teamwork and community service
