Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, dump trucks, graders) for excavation and earthwork
- Perform manual labor including concrete pouring, asphalt patching, and debris removal
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and traffic control procedures
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system upkeep
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Document work progress and maintain accurate project records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Washington State driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 1 year construction or public works experience preferred
- Certification in OSHA 10-hour construction safety (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow written/verbal instructions
