Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, paving, and debris removal
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, pressure washers)
- Maintain city roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Assist in emergency response during storms/floods
- Follow OSHA safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with skilled trades on large-scale projects
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in Texas weather
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Pass background/drug screening
- Teamwork and reliability mindset
- Willingness to obtain CDL within 6 months
