Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, dump trucks, and paving machinery
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and material handling (up to 50 lbs)
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and stormwater system upkeep
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Collaborate with supervisors and crew members for efficient project execution
- Document work progress and complete daily maintenance logs
- Participate in emergency response during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in construction or public works
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
