Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for park maintenance including landscaping, tree trimming, and irrigation repairs
- Assist in street repair projects including pothole filling, sign installation, and traffic control setupOperate light machinery such as jackhammers, saws, and pressure washers under supervision
- Maintain public facilities including building cleaning, groundskeeping, and minor repairs
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in emergency response efforts during severe weather events
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and inspection reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction safety
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and emergencies
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Experience in landscaping, construction, or municipal services preferred
