Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy and light construction equipment, including jackhammers, rollers, and dump trucks.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, paving, snow removal, and street sweeping.
- Maintain public areas, parks, and roadways to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, maps, and work orders to complete assigned tasks.
- Load and unload construction materials and debris from transport vehicles.
- Ensure all work sites comply with strict safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or public works is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
