Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, loaders, graders, and asphalt rollers under supervision.
- Perform general construction and maintenance duties, including snow removal, paving, and drainage maintenance.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment using hand trucks, forklifts, or other machinery.
- Assist in traffic control and flagging operations during road work.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and hauling materials as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to pass a post-offer physical examination and drug screen.
- Basic knowledge of construction equipment and safety practices.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
