Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, debris removal, and material handling
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) under supervision
- Assist in street repair, park maintenance, and stormwater management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and city protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Document work progress and maintain equipment cleanliness
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather
- Basic hand tool proficiency (shovels, rakes, brooms)
- Flexibility to work 20-30 hours weekly across multiple shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience in construction/maintenance preferred but not required
