Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including street repairs, park maintenance, and waste management
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, sweepers) with proper safety protocols
- Assist in stormwater management and drainage system upkeep
- Support snow removal and emergency response operations
- Maintain clean and organized work zones according to OSHA standards
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Maryland Driver's License Class C
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks in varying weather conditions
- Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and safety equipment
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (provided)
