Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on public roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, mowers, hand tools) safely and efficiently
- Assist in construction and renovation of public facilities and green spaces
- Manage waste collection and recycling operations across designated zones
- Document daily work activities and material usage via digital reporting systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols (OSHA certification preferred)
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
