Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for street maintenance, landscaping, and facility repairs
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, sweepers) under supervision
- Assist in debris removal and site cleanup after weather events
- Support construction projects including sidewalk repairs and park renovations
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain equipment cleanliness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project efficiency
- Adhere to OSHA and SFDPW safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment
- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, or weekends as needed
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with flexible scheduling
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or public service preferred
