Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, graders)
- Perform street repair, sewer maintenance, and park landscaping
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and city regulations
- Assist in emergency storm response and snow removal operations
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project execution
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
- Willingness to obtain CDL within first year (training provided)
- Residency in Omaha or Douglas County preferred
