Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and maintenance of public infrastructure
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power tools) safely and efficiently
- Assist in stormwater drainage system upkeep and flood prevention efforts
- Conduct routine inspections of public facilities and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment operation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends and evenings
