Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, hauling, and operating light equipment.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of public roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
- Maintain a clean and safe work site by removing debris and securing materials.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Interact with the public and other contractors in a professional manner.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid North Carolina Driver’s License (clean driving record preferred).
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction or public works procedures is a plus.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
