Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor for street maintenance, park upkeep, and facility repairs
- Operate light equipment (e.g., jackhammers, saws, power washers) safely
- Assist in traffic control and flagging operations during construction
- Load/unload materials and maintain clean, organized work sites
- Perform routine inspections and report infrastructure issues
- Collaborate with crews on stormwater management projects
- Adhere to OSHA and city safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- 1+ years construction/public works experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and equipment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
