Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and concrete work on public infrastructure projects
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain city streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Assist in stormwater management and erosion control initiatives
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in emergency response efforts during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in extreme temperatures
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Successful completion of pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Experience with municipal/public works preferred
