Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and asphalt pavers
- Perform road construction, drainage system installation, and utility maintenance
- Conduct site preparation including grading, trenching, and concrete pouring
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and environmental compliance standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and job site cleanup
Qualifications
- 3+ years of public works or heavy construction experience
- Valid Nevada Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
- Certification in heavy equipment operation (e.g., CAT, Komatsu)
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends
