Responsibilities
- Execute heavy equipment operations (excavators, loaders, graders) with precision
- Perform road maintenance, drainage system repairs, and utility installations
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and environmental compliance standards
- Operate hand/power tools for construction and demolition tasks
- Conduct site inspections and material quality verification
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Maintain accurate project documentation and equipment logs
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona Commercial Driver's License (Class A/B) required
- 3+ years heavy equipment operation experience in municipal projects
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and background clearance
- Experience with GIS mapping and survey equipment a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting
