Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and manual labor for infrastructure projects
- Operate machinery including jackhammers, saws, and trenchers
- Install and maintain roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols
- Assist in emergency storm response and repairs
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites
- Document daily work activities and progress
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years construction or public works experience
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
