Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and utility maintenance
- Operate light machinery (saws, jackhammers, sweepers) with on-the-job training
- Assist in road repair, sidewalk construction, and storm drain maintenance
- Maintain job site safety protocols and clean equipment daily
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends during emergencies
