Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair city streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, dump trucks, etc.) with proper safety protocols
- Assist in snow removal and weather emergency response
- Perform groundskeeping and park maintenance duties
- Collaborate with team members on infrastructure improvement projects
- Follow all OSHA and municipal safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Nebraska driver's license (Class B preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in all weather
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Omaha residency required within 6 months of hire
- Pass background check and drug screening
