Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and utility maintenance
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, asphalt cutters) and hand tools safely
- Assist in road repair, snow removal, and storm cleanup operations
- Maintain work areas per OSHA safety standards and environmental protocols
- Collaborate with crew members to complete infrastructure projects efficiently
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Indiana Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices
- Experience with hand/power tools preferred
- Must pass background check and pre-employment physical
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and emergencies
