Responsibilities
- Perform general manual labor tasks, including digging, paving, and concrete work.
- Maintain and clean public streets, alleys, and rights-of-way.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during winter months.
- Operate basic heavy equipment such as skid steers, dump trucks, and jackhammers under supervision.
- Inspect public infrastructure for damage and report maintenance needs.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Follow all safety protocols and site regulations to ensure a hazard-free environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina required to perform heavy lifting, standing, and walking for long hours.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read basic instructions.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
