Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery and construction equipment such as backhoes, rollers, and loaders.
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, paving, and snow removal.
- Assist in traffic control operations and flagging duties during active roadwork.
- Inspect work sites to ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and coordinate with other crew members.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols is preferred.
