Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including excavation, grading, and site preparation.
- Assist in the setup and operation of light to medium construction equipment and tools.
- Ensure all work zones are clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Follow strict OSHA safety regulations and project-specific protocols.
- Load, unload, and distribute construction materials and tools as directed.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and foremen to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, safety equipment, and site procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when necessary.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
