Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including paving, patching, and sweeping streets.
- Assist in snow removal and ice control operations during winter months.
- Operate heavy and light equipment safely under supervision.
- Maintain public parks, sidewalks, and right-of-ways.
- Collect and dispose of waste or debris according to city ordinances.
- Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe for the public.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic control procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Valid Class C Driver's License (some positions may require a CDL).
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to work sites.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
