Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light equipment (e.g., jackhammers, power saws, pressure washers) safely
- Maintain public spaces, parks, and facilities (e.g., landscaping, irrigation repair)
- Assist in emergency response for weather-related incidents and natural disasters
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project coordination
- Complete daily equipment inspection and maintenance logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Class C Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in varied weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction methods
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Strong teamwork ethic and reliability
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends as needed
