Responsibilities
- Assist in construction, maintenance, and repair of public infrastructure
- Operate hand tools and light machinery safely
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and debris removal
- Maintain work site cleanliness and safety standards
- Support traffic control and work zone setup
- Participate in emergency response as needed
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks
- Adhere to OSHA and city safety protocols
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – training provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license (Class C minimum)
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to pass background check and drug screen
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
