Responsibilities
- Assist in construction and maintenance of city infrastructure including roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate hand tools and light machinery under supervision (shovels, saws, compactors)
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, loading materials, and debris removal
- Maintain safe work environments following OSHA and city safety protocols
- Support traffic control and flagging operations during public works projects
- Complete routine inspections and report maintenance issues to supervisors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
