Responsibilities
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site by removing debris and adhering to all safety protocols.
- Equipment Assistance: Operate and assist with basic heavy equipment, including skid steers, rollers, and dump trucks, under direct supervision.
- Manual Labor: Perform physical tasks such as digging, grading, shoveling, hauling materials, and lifting heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Project Support: Assist project managers and foremen with various construction duties, including asphalt paving, concrete work, and utility installation.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all OSHA safety standards, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Material Handling: Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and store them properly.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure project goals are met efficiently.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are looking for eager learners willing to be trained on the job.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, including standing, walking, and lifting.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for transportation to job sites.
- Work Ethic: Dependable, punctual, and a strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
- Outdoor Tolerance: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic Math Skills: Basic understanding of measurements and measurements is a plus.
