Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, compactors) under supervision
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and park infrastructure projectsMaintain job site cleanliness and safety standards
- Collaborate with crew members to complete daily project goals
- Follow all city safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Report maintenance needs and equipment issues to supervisors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
